Everyone has been at the poker table when an argument has broken out. You know the feeling. You’ve finally been dealt aces and two knuckleheads won’t quit their yapping about the previous hand where one got lucky and flushed the other on the river.
But what if that fight escalates? This week, at Hustler Casino, a fight broke out after a hand at the $1/$2 cash game tables. What followed has inspired Joey Ingram to pick up the mic again and put together the most hilarious fight commentary since the Rumble in the Jungle.
The Dust-Up at the Hustler? You’d better believe it.
What Happened in the Fight?
The fight took place on the fringes of the action at the Hustler tables and was captured by another cash game player not involved with the players who clashed. The two players who did clash really went at it, however. The younger man of the pair seemed to be more placid at first, but after trading insults, he spits in the face of his older opponent.
After trading punches, the older man runs to get a tray-table and smashes it towards the head of his enemy with all the energy of a retired wrestler. At this point, the security guard comes wheeling into the frame and fires his taser gun in the direction of the follicle-challenged fighter, disarming him immediately.
What makes this fight so entertaining? Easily Joey Ingram’s incredible commentary on this scrap. Ingram’s five-minute-long gleeful blow-by-blow account of the action is utterly hilarious and a solid reason why Ingram has been nominated for many awards in his career as YouTube host and streamer.

A Future in Boxing or UFC Commentary?
Ingram has gotten so popular that sadly, he no longer has the need to provide daily poker commentaries, but if he was to pivot to boxing commentary, could he carry it off? Could he ever! This is the sort of content that could put regular boxing commentators on the street reading out punch statistics for pennies.
Ingram’s commentary may be fueled by red wine — as the end of his video reveals when he utters the immortal line, “This fight was an intense fight. That fight sponsored by… fighting” – but he could do an even better job on longer fights. UFC would be better suited to the talents of ‘Papi’ purely because of the crazier nature of the sport compared to boxing, but the most recent heavyweight showdowns would only benefit from Ingram commentary and we would sign up for Pay-Per-View coverage of the net big fight – and let’s face it, pay double — if Chicago Joey was on the mic.
From takedowns to uppercuts, insults to trips and slips, who better to bring them to life than the man who compares these two fighters at Hustler scrapping over dollar bills as ‘Stone Cold Steve Austin and Khabib”? Somebody needs to make it happen, and soon.
