The recent World Series of Poker 2022 Online Series has made hundreds of players very rich and crowned dozens of winners as the latest members of an exclusive club – those to have won a WSOP gold bracelet.

With the series a stunning success, players in Canada will have three more opportunities to seize the day and grab gold as Ontario hosts three additional WSOP bracelet events at the end of October.

Negreanu Excited for Canadian Bracelet Hunt

One man who is beside himself with excitement as the WSOP ‘CA’ events arrive in Ontario is Daniel Negreanu. The Canadian poker legend (picture above, second right) will be looking to add to his own personal haul of six WSOP bracelets and is aiming to win his first from Canada.

“Three WSOP bracelets will be won this month by Ontario-based players, and I’m thrilled to be the one to reveal this exciting news,” said the Hall of Famer and GGPoker Global Ambassador known as ‘Kid Poker’.

For a man who has already become the first player in poker history to win bracelets in American, Europe and Asia, the poker superstar, who won the Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas for over $3.3 million earlier this month, it’s another opportunity to pan for WSOP gold.

“Poker is in a great place right now in my home province, and it’s so cool that Ontarian players can play for a WSOP bracelet from home; what a way to end WSOP Online 2022!”

Back in the summer, Negreanu played over six dozen WSOP events in the summer series in Las Vegas and even gave Gamble Online readers some advice on how to win a WSOP event and get the most out of the world’s biggest poker festival too.

How to Play WSOP Events in Canada

It’s easy to take part if you’re looking to grab gold yourself. Simply download the WSOP client via WSOP’s Canadian home and you’ll be ready to deposit and enter each event. There are three ‘bonus’ events taking place, with WSOP.ca hosting the events via regulation by iGaming Ontario between Sunday, October 23rd and Sunday, October 30th.

Event #1 is the $150-entry ‘BIG 150’ Ontario MILLION$, with it’s final day taking place on October 23rd and a guarantee of $100,000. Event #2 is the $210 buy-in Omaholic PLO Bounty MILLION$, with the final stage taking place on October 30th. That event also has a bumper $100,000 guarantee.

The third and final event is the big one. With an astonishing $250,000 guarantee, the $1,050-entry GGMasters Online Championship is a freezeout format (so no re-entries) and concludes on October 30th too.

A Record-Breaking Launch

Bringing the World Series of Poker to Canada, and Ontario in particular is a huge achievement and the WSOP is rightly delighted to welcome players to three massive events.

“Winning authentic WSOP gold bracelets is one big reason to play on the licensed and regulated WSOP.ca site in Ontario,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “We’re expecting these tournaments will be some of the biggest of the year, therefore it’s a great way to celebrate a highly successful launch.”

With every player taking part chasing immortality and the chance to become something of a poker pioneer, the fields are expected to be huge and with many new players registering specifically to play these events, there may not be a better chance to win gold this year if you love playing poker online.

Even if you don’t, this extended WSOP Online Series and its virtual trip to Canada’s represents a unique trio of opportunities to turn your skills at any kind of felt into a gold WSOP bracelet which will be the envy of all your poker peers – whatever level of the game you play at.
